JOB SUMMARY

Field owner of patient growth within an assigned territory, building the physician, employer, broker, municipal, and community relationships that produce new patients for the SALUS clinics, urgent care centers, and MiConsulta digital care stations. On the Medicare side, the Executive supports Triple-S Salud sales during the Annual and Open Enrollment Periods and converts enrollment activity into attributed patients with a completed first appointment. On the commercial side, the Executive works assigned employer accounts and broker relationships to schedule and deliver the preventive screening and health assessment activity that creates and maintains attribution. The position operates against defined territory targets, an assigned account list, and a documented contact cadence.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Territory and account management. Own an assigned territory and account list, maintaining a documented contact cadence with every priority physician practice, employer, broker, and community partner, and maintaining a working pipeline with stage, expected volume, and next action. (18%)
  • Medicare field execution. Execute the assigned portion of the SALUS field plan for the Annual Enrollment Period and Open Enrollment Period, coordinating on the ground with Triple-S Salud agents and brokers and focusing effort on age-ins and in-catchment members without an established primary care relationship. (17%)
  • Commercial employer and broker engagement. Manage assigned employer accounts, secure worksite access, and plan and staff screening days, health assessment campaigns, wellness and benefit fairs, and clinic open houses that create commercial attribution to SALUS. (17%)
  • Physician and referral relations. Conduct regular visits to referring physician offices and specialty practices, serve as the day-to-day contact on access and scheduling questions, and identify referral leakage in the territory. (14%)
  • Attribution conversion. Complete warm handoffs from enrollment and outreach activity to a scheduled first appointment, follow up until the appointment is kept, and drive re-engagement outreach for attributed members approaching the end of the lookback window. (10%)
  • Community engagement. Represent SALUS at health fairs, educational seminars, municipal programs, professional associations, and community events, including occasional evening and weekend activity. (8%)
  • Digital health. Promote adoption and utilization of MiConsulta digital care stations with employers, municipalities, and community partners, and follow up on digital health and urgent care encounters to convert them into established primary care relationships. (5%)
  • Documentation and reporting. Maintain accurate and current account, contact, event, and activity records in the designated systems, and report territory results and pipeline to the Manager on the established cadence with explanation of variance against target. (5%)
  • Compliance and brand standards. Conduct all activity in compliance with CMS marketing and communications requirements, HIPAA, beneficiary inducement rules, and organizational policy, referring all plan-specific enrollment discussions to licensed, appointed agents, and coordinating external materials through the Manager and Corporate Marketing. (4%)
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned. (2%)

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Marketing

EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Health Administration, or a related field, required.
  • Three (3) or more years of experience in business development, sales, healthcare outreach, client relations, physician relations, or community engagement required.
  • Healthcare industry experience strongly preferred. Experience with Medicare Advantage enrollment seasons or employer group engagement preferred.
  • Valid Puerto Rico driver’s license. Health insurance producer license preferred, not required.
