JOB SUMMARY
This position requires comprehensive knowledge of contracting, including negotiation skills, conceptual frameworks, principles, and practices relevant to network management. The role involves managing complex contracting situations to facilitate successful negotiations. Responsibilities include conducting proposal analyses and providing recommendations for implementation within the contracting process. The incumbent interprets and explains complex contract information and assists both internal and external stakeholders. Additionally, the position supports others in understanding the significance of contracting, operational, and strategic objectives of the organization. Under the direction of the Director or Manager, the individual will plan, design, develop, and execute contracting strategies.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Receive, assess, and provide recommendations on proposals from new hospitals, ancillary services, and providers, as well as cost-saving projects or strategic initiatives.
- Execute contracting strategy that takes business considerations into account.
- Suggest, implement, and carry out contracting strategies for special agreements. Negotiate contracts in collaboration with management.
- Analyze statistics, forecasts, data, and reports, providing insights to facilitate decision-making in contract management.
- Ensure that strategic contracts are processed to support accurate and efficient claims payments
- Completes assigned projects as well as interacts and participates with other departments in activities and special projects or initiatives to accomplish company-wide goals and objectives.
- Assess the current network and identify potential contracting opportunities.
- Active participation in the Joint Operation Committee
- Offer recommendations to meet the goals of the Division and Company.
- Execute additional tasks assigned by the supervisor that are crucial for the division's operational plans and align with the corporation's objectives.
EDUCATION
- Bachelor's Degree
EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's Degree (BD), with one (1) to three (3) years of this experience.
