JOB SUMMARY

Requires the ability to learn and follow policies, procedures and standards of your area, department and other related departments. Make planning efforts within your department, whether for day-to-day operational situations. Anticipates customer needs and acts proactively to achieve customer satisfaction.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Receives premium and loan payments from policyholders.
  • Serves clients by telephone and in person to guide them about the services offered and provide them with information on the current status of their claims, payments, changes in premiums, among others.
  • Answers correspondence from policyholders either in writing or by telephone.
  • Processes policy settlements and issues the corresponding checks.
  • Processes loan applications and verify in the system the eligibility of policyholders to make said loans.
  • Notifies district managers of policy cancellation requests for business preservation efforts.
  • Processes policy cancellations in the system at the request of policyholders.
  • Processes requested changes to policy covers and generates policy schedules.
  • Processes duplicates and assembly of policies.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business Administration with 1 to 3 years of experience in Customer Service.
  • Or instead, Associate's Degree (60-64 college credits), preferably in Business Administration with 2-3 years of customer service experience preferred.
  • Or, instead, 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Or the equivalence of the combination of education and experience.
