JOB SUMMARY
Will be responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating community projects that support the mission and objectives of Triple S and its Foundation. In the absence of the Director, will be responsible for supervision and representation. Support the relationships and performance monitoring of key community social agencies through program outreach, operations support, community engagement, and collaborative alliances, to support the implementation of an organization wide social determinants of health strategy.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Design and implement community projects that support the mission and objectives of Triple-S and its Foundation.
- Develop and execute community and business outreach plans according to Triple-S' and Triple-S Foundation strategics social responsibility principles.
- Strengthen relationships with key organizations, government agencies, and companies identified by Triple-S and its Foundation.
- Support efforts related to health and sponsorship initiatives, including community mobilization, education, and service coordination.
- Coordinate community outreach events, including workshops, town hall meetings, special events, and educational events.
- Prepare reports on community impact and initiatives.
- Assist in administrative functions of the community and communication division.
- Organize, attend, and present at business, community, and neighborhood group meetings regarding the SDOH and sponsorship initiatives including community mobilization, education, and services coordination.
- Be primary point of contact and organizer of outreach activities of the Triple S and Fundación Triple-S.
- Regularly participate or coordinate community outreach and other business activities around the Island during or outside normal business hours.
- Design and implementation of community activations, ensure brands presence and media coverage or exposure.
- Support volunteer efforts at the community.
- Identify issues, opportunities and lessons learned and contribute to the continuous improvement of the program design and delivery. Supervise and represent the Director of the Foundation in her absence.
- Develop and manage budgets for community projects.
- Evaluate and improve the effectiveness of community projects.
EDUCATION
- Bachelor's Degree in Educacion para la Salud or Nutricion
- Bachelor’s degree (BD) in Administration, Health Science, Health Education, Nutrition, Social Worker, public relations or any related profession. 5-7 years of experience in community project management or program coordination.
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS
- Current/valid professional license without restrictions, if applies.
