JOB SUMMARY
This role will oversee a team, develop robust automation frameworks, and ensure the delivery of high-quality, compliant software solutions tailored to healthcare payor processes. They will have a passion for technology and innovation and will provide vision and domain expertise to the test team. As needed, they will be responsible for building and executing test scripts and assist and support their team as needed. This position will require knowledge of system design and regulatory solutions. Require mentoring and collaborating within the team and to assist more junior team members. This will include working cross-functionally, across teams and formulating system and approach innovation strategies. We are looking for an individual who can think nimbly and is passionate about technology.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Lead the design, development, and execution of automated test scripts. This role includes being a direct contributor.
- Define and implement automation testing strategies, frameworks, and best practices aligned with business and technical goals.
- Mentor and guide QA automation team members, fostering skill development and adherence to quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product owners, analysts, subject matter experts) to gather requirements, define test plans, and ensure test coverage.
- Oversee functional, end-to-end integration, regression, performance and user acceptance (UAT) testing for both existing and new functionality-features.
- Manage defect tracking, analysis, and resolution, support user acceptance testing.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Identify and implement process improvements for increased productivity, quality and automated efficiencies.
- Report on test progress, quality metrics, and risk assessments.
EDUCATION
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering_General
EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, similar technical field of study, or related practical experience. 8+ years of QA automation experience, with at least 2+ years in a lead or senior QA role. Deep understanding of healthcare payor systems and processes with 2+ years’ experience preferred.
