JOB SUMMARY
In charge of selling individual life and disability insurance policies. Responsible for collecting money from insurance premiums sold to policyholders and, or participants.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Sell life and disability policies on the assigned route.
- Collect outstanding policies in the assigned area.
- Record and balance sales and premium collections made daily.
- Deposit on a daily basis the collected premiums into the bank account provided by the company.
- Attend meetings called by the Manager or Supervisor to report results of sales and collection management.
- Serve as a link and communication channel between the company and the client.
- Guide and help clients in filing claims and follow up on their processing.
- Other tasks related to the position.
EDUCATION
- High School Diploma
EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma or Commercial Technical Course, preferably with 6 months of experience in the essential functions of the position.
- Limited License, Life Insurance and/or Disability Insurance license issued by the Office of the Insurance Commissioner of Puerto Rico and keep it active and without restrictions.
