JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for directing and overseeing the daily operations of the clinic, setting operational strategy, and managing the administrative and clinical-support functions to ensure that methods and standards are safe, effective, and efficient. Accountable for the physical and technical operations across assigned sites, driving maximum efficiency and profitability. Leads and develops on-site supervisors, site teams, working in partnership and with joint accountability with other members of management to achieve Salus mission, guiding principles and goals.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Develop, implement, and oversee enhancement of systems and processes across assigned clinic, ensuring consistency and scalability of operations.
  • Promote clinic services within the medical community and represent the Division in external and community relations.
  • Resolve escalated problems or issues arising from patients, suppliers, or staff related to clinical systems, policies, or operations.
  • Identify and resolve administrative issues/concerns at a multi-site level; partner with senior management to ensure services and quality-of-care standards.
  • Oversee clinic schedules and staffing plans managed by Supervisors, ensuring adequate coverage and operational continuity across sites.
  • Lead organizational planning efforts and partner with site leadership teams to plan for long-term patient needs and resource allocation.
  • Establish and oversee performance evaluation protocols and policies; ensure direct reports maintain systems that meet clinic productivity targets.
  • Lead planning of staff meetings and team-building activities across sites; ensure compliance with company standards and procedures.
  • Monitor, control, and direct business operations to exceed expectations and company goals in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Reconcile monthly operating budgets across clinic and present consolidated financial reports to senior management.
  • Develop and drive the strategic plan for operational improvements and achievement of KPI's across the Division.
  • Drive implementation of tactical and strategic plans; follow up on assigned initiatives, projects, or objectives to ensure expectations are met.
  • Accountable for overall workflow, task prioritization, and day-to-day execution across assigned clinic, delegating to and holding supervisors accountable for site-level activities.
  • Oversee and lead the organization's new EMR (Electronic Medical Records) system transition, serving as the primary person in charge of planning, implementation, and adoption across all clinics.
  • Coordinate with IT, vendors, and clinical staff to ensure EMR data migration, staff training, and go-live activities are completed on schedule and with minimal disruption to patient care.
  • Monitor EMR transition progress, troubleshoot issues, and report status and risks to senior management.

EDUCATION

  • Master's Degree in Healthcare or Science
  • Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare or Science

EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's Degree (Master's Degree preferred) in Healthcare Administration, Science, or Business Administration, plus five (5) to seven (7) years of progressive experience in administration/operations, preferably in the health industry and/or medical billing procedures, including at least two (2) years in a supervisory or leadership role.
