JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for coordinate and oversee daily operations. Manage the administrative functions of the clinic and ensure that methods and standards are safe, effective, and efficient. Responsible for physical or technical operations for the clinics, helping ensure maximum efficiency and profitability. Work in partnership with joint accountability with other team members to achieve Salus mission, guiding principles and goals.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Develop, implement and, or enhance systems and processes that affect and, or enhance clinic operations.
  • Maintain operational licenses in compliance with the laws and regulations applicable to the regulation requirements.
  • Promote the clinic services within the medical community. 
  • Resolve problems or issues that arise from patients or suppliers related to clinical systems, policies or staff. 
    Identify and resolve administrative issues/concerns.
  • Coordinate clinic activities with management to ensure services and quality of care standards.
  • Review and coordinate clinic schedules and schedule changes for vacations, illness, meetings for regular or contract personnel, among of others to maintain the operation standards. 
  • Lead and participate in quality-of-care initiatives and process improvement activities.
  • Participate in organization planning and work with site lead team to plan for long term patient needs and resources.
  • Oversee performance evaluation protocols and policies. Work with leads to develop and maintain systems to ensure clinic productivity is met.
  • Lead/Co-lead and plan staff meetings, including team building activities. Ensure compliance with company standards and procedures.
  • Provide supervision of or training for students who are assigned to Salus as part of their professional education or internship.
  • Monitor, control and supervise business operations to exceed expectations and company goals in accordance with laws and regulations.
  • Coordinate and manage project tasks to ensure delivery within allotted budget and timelines.
  • Reconcile monthly operating budgets and share updated financial reports with the management team.
  • Provide strategic plan for improvements and achievement of KPI’s.
  • Work with management to ensure the work environment (office space, systems) is adequately for staff needs.
  • Participates in the implementation of tactical plans, follows up on assigned tasks, projects, or objectives to ensure that expectations are met.
  • Prepares production reports, statistics and presentations when required.
  • Assist in special projects or initiatives of the corporation.  Provide recommendations to achieve the Division’s and Company’s goals.
  • Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, motivates, and evaluates the performance of direct reports.
  • Establishes disciplinary actions when necessary and promotes employee performance recognition when applicable.
  • Responsible for preparing, assigning tasks, monitoring workflow and monitoring day to day execution and employee activities.
  • Available to work during weekends.

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare or Science
  • Master's Degree in Healthcare or Science

EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s Degree (Master’s Degree, preferable) in Healthcare Administration, Science or Business Administration three (3) to five (5) years of experience in administration, preferably in the health industry and /or medical billing procedures.
