JOB SUMMARY
Manages the process required to implement the vision and strategy for market offer related to new product development and product lifecycle management of existing products through the defined process. Incorporates concept development projects and capabilities through research, market analysis, industry intelligence, customer monitoring, and utilization trends using analytics to support product roadmap and innovate new products- services, enhancements, and redesigns.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Responsible for Product development and performance, ensuring all work is completed timely in support of Product management, Competitiveness and Product Rationalization.
- Develops strong cross segment-business acumen to support development models that are operationally and financially effective for the enterprise. Develops in-depth knowledge and continuously refreshes awareness of health product segment designs, market needs and emerging trends. Develop and maintain cross functional business partner relationships to support the development of successful - optimal conceptual designs.
- Leads, supports, or participates in the execution - change management of conceptual strategy and product design communications for internal and external audiences. Lead or support major design initiatives targeting desired population through new products, network, care, and payment models.
- Identifies gaps and opportunities to leverage current Product Management knowledge to support increasing enterprise knowledge of the Product process to support compliance and customer loyalty.
- Manage regulator’s relationship and lead product related submission to comply and guarantee approval as required.
- Operational Strategy Support:
- Responsible for leading the development of new conceptual designs to meet market and segment needs including cost benefit analysis, marketing plans and testing/piloting, as appropriate, the concepts. Manages the process from an idea through conceptual design.
- Provide expertise product input on complex projects from concept to implementation through analysis and design as well as regulation interpretation.
- Define, adjust, and monitor cross-functional development processes and identify constraints to successfully develop vision and design of optimal business processes.
- Enterprise Coordination:
- Leads analytical efforts to develop health products performance including results against targets and observations that serve as inputs into Product strategy and Product Management.
- Supports cross-enterprise Partners (IT/ Data Analytics/ Sales Reporting) to manage the Product Performance of health product portfolios, as well as identify roadmap opportunities for each assigned market segment.
- Administrative:
- Manage assigned budget and negotiate accordingly to company’s needs.
- Develop and manage team talent, workplan completion and cohesive delegation.
EDUCATION
- Master's Degree in Marketing or Healthcare
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or Healthcare
EXPERIENCE
Master’s degree preferable or bachelor’s degree,with (5) years in product development, marketing, health management, compliance, or health care industry, preferable. Must have at least (3) years of supervisory experience.
