JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for participating in creating innovative ideas and suggestions to improve compliance and training of Sales and Marketing Division and other business units. Anticipates customer needs and act proactively to ensure their satisfaction. Provide support by identifying the educational needs of others, coordinating and conducting formal onboarding, educational training and development programs, or classes for the employees based on the development plans of the company group.  Ensure a high standard of training and facilitation.  

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Design, plan, organize and monitor training activities and workshops at corporate level. 
  • Responsible for the development of training programs implementing all the components at the divisional or corporate level such as: Develop and write new training manuals, guides, assessment, develop and write policy and procedures, delivery and evaluation.
  • Assess training needs through surveys, interviews with employees, focus groups, or consultation with managers, instructor or customer representatives.
  • Promotes training activities and participate in employee enrollment. Conduct training and present information, using a variety of instructional techniques and formats such as role playing, simulations, team exercise, group discussions, videos and lectures.
  • Design, monitor, record and provide tests to evaluate program effectiveness.
  • Responsible for the development and implementation of the training programs in compliance with CMS guidelines and the policies and procedures of the company and the Sales Division.
  • Responsible for conducting sales personnel individual or group trainings upon hiring date and re-training of former personnel as needed.  Designing and delivering new trainings as requested to support corporate educational and development needs.
  • Responsible for identifying and notifying proficiency of employees under training, including methods such as observation, monitoring, one on one sessions, feedback, coaching and through meetings with direct supervisors. Measure learning objectives like knowledge comprehension, transfer and retention and align goals with training objectives.
  • Develop, participate in programs-services designed to communicate and correspond with personnel (newsletters, fact sheets, presentations, e-mail blast, webinars, etc.)
  • Obtain, organize and prepare written, audio or visual educational materials that address cultural and educational (language,literacy,intelligence) diversity among different audience.
  • Evaluate areas of concern and program needs monthly, quarterly and annually.
  • Develop a monthly educational calendar-schedule for trainings designed to new hire employees.
  • Assist in sales compliance programs and initiatives by evaluating, measuring and re-training as needed based on member inquiries and, or complaint patterns.

EDUCATION

  • Master's Degree
  • Bachelor's Degree

EXPERIENCE

Master’s degree preferable or Bachelor’s Degree, with one (1) to three (3) years of experience with Medicare Advantage, HMO or health care industry preferable.
