JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for enhancing and assist in the formation and execution of data governance program. Support in the implementation of a data catalog. Drive the data quality, data integrity and data domains across the enterprise that will enable data of and operational areas to improve the quality and value of core data assets and respond to policy and process requirements. Responsible for enterprise around key data domains and driving the definition and prioritization of data improvement initiatives.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Serve as a liaison between business operational areas and technology to ensure that data related business for protecting sensitive and critical data are clearly defined, communicated and well understood and considered as part of operational prioritization and planning. Support the data governance committee establish ensure clear accountability for stewardship of data assets.
- Troubleshoot data issues and work with data stewards to identify root causes and solutions.
- Provide metrics of the results of the data domain as part of the data governance program.
- Participate in reviewing of the data elements for each data domain with the business operational areas.
- Monitors data and trends relative to the data governance program and makes recommendations for improvement as well as establishes implementation plans.
- Participate with initiatives that involve any of data flows and processes.
- Ensure controls are in place over data domains and subdomains to ensure the performing of data integrity.
- Identify new business opportunities pertaining to the use of information assets to achieve efficiency and effectiveness in the enterprise as a strategic business asset
EDUCATION
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Computer Science
EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or Computer Science preferable, with one (1) to three (3) years of experience in healthcare, information services or equivalent, developing SQL for SQL Server.
